Can you cook ...Anything but a card?

So another week has passed, where did that time go?  This week at Cooking it up with Katie we were asked to make anything but a card.. I got all excited and wanted to make those fancy pants candles you see on blogs, you know the coloured images embedded on a candle, I think they are fantastic.  I got as far as finding instructions, realising i didnt have tissue paper and not being bothered to go and buy some.. and heading to plan B..
Plan B was to be a box... a box however  didnt turn out how i wanted it too.. I completed it and even took photos... and wasnt overly thrilled...

so next plan C... which is below.

I covered a cereal box with design paper and let it dry and then cut out a chocolate box on my cutter, stuck it all together and decorated it and of course filled it with chocolates..  Very hard to get a good photo of this.  I distressed the edges, coloured the silver embellishment copper and added some ink to the cream flowers, I even used my martha punch on the bottom to add some paper lace..

Im sitting here looking at both photos with a giggle, talk about colour confusion between one project and the next.. its like walking from a circus to a fancy hotel in one blink.

Anyway, its now your turn to show us what you have got... remember anything but a card!

We are sponsored by Gingerloft this week at Cooking it Up, so head on over to the Challenge blog and link up your creations, we cant wait to stop by to be inspired!
I'm also playing with
Creatalicious - Distress your edges
Charizma Cardz - Anything Goes
Card Makin Mama's - Cut it out  (the whole box is die cut on a digital cutter)
Simon Says - Buttons they are in the box
